Default Renewing my Essential Skill work visa

Hi guys, my current visa is expiring on March. And I think I still have 1 more year left to apply.

I have working with current employer till now, which I have supplied the employer supplement form/AD/contract/job description on the previous Essential skill work visa. If I am applying this time, do I still need to supply these files?

Do I have to sign a new contract, and does employer needs to do another advertisement for the job?

Or a cover letter will help?

Here are the regulations about how long you're allowed to hold an Essential Skills visa for. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/#66940.htm

If you haven't had all the time you're entitled to, so you can apply again in relation to this same job, the application will be just like the first one, having to meet all the criteria and to supply all the evidence, as mentioned on the fact sheet. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...-visa#criteria

So I can still use all the evidence from previous application right?

Some of it. Your employer will have to do the form, and the labour market test, again. The fact that you are in this job and that the employer is happy with that unfortunately doesn't alter the fact that he has to show that there isn't some NZ national or visa holder who could take the place.
