Permanent Residence application processing time

Dear all,

I submitted my PR application through a VAC as I'm outside NZ. The following day, I received an email from INZ acknowledging receipt of my application and the email stated that they expect to complete my application by 15 Feb. It's been a week overdue and I've not heard anything from INZ.

Should I be calling them to find out? Or is it quite common for processing to be delayed and I should just wait another few more weeks?

It's very common at the moment for things to take rather longer. It's not just your case, and it's nothing to worry about.
