Default Work to residency (Talent accredited)

    Hi All,

Please provide any insights you might have on my issue below.
After getting my SMC application rejected I have applied for a WTR visa. (Booked an appointment with a lawyer to review my SMC application)
    I meet the following criteria.

    Annual Package above 55K
    Employer is Accredited
    Employment is ongoing

Most important thing is that I have used the same Job Code for WTR that got my SMC Rejected, I believe the requirement for education that was the issue with SMC doesn't apply to WTR.
Please let me know if I'm missing any criteria that need to be fulfilled to ensure that I don't face Rejection.
My reason to panic is that my current visa expires end of next month and if INZ rejects this visa again on some unknown grounds I will be left with no Visa.
If Anyone has applied for the same visa please share your experience.

    Thanks in Advance.

See here https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...-visa#criteria and hit SHOW ALL EVIDENCE, and you'll see everything that is required.

About the job, it has this.
    Your job offer must:

    be from an accredited employer
be current at the time you apply for your visa
    be for full-time work
be for 2 years or more
pay at least NZ $55,000 a year (before tax)
be for work that is your employer’s main reason for being in business
make your employer responsible for the work that you do.

You must provide a copy of your employment agreement as evidence of your job offer. The employment agreement must include:

your employer’s name and contact details
    your name and contact details
    your job title
the address for your place of work
the kind of work you’ll be doing and your responsibilities at work
details of any necessary qualifications or work experience
information about whether you’ll need New Zealand registration to do the work
how long the work will be for
how long you have to take up the job offer
pay and work conditions that comply with New Zealand employment law.
As you can see, there is NOTHING prescriptive there (or under any other heading) about your educational qualifications. It's always been the case that INZ leave it up to the accredited employers to decide which applicants are right for them.

    Thanks a lot, JandM,

Gives me some hope that things will go fine without any issues.
I will update this post once I get any information from INZ.

    Cheers.
