Default Failed Lodgement due to not sending original or certified copies

    Hello All,

My wife and I have applied for a Residence Visa under SMC. Unfortunately, it was a failed lodgement. Reason for failure is not sending original or certified copy of birth certificate.

    My question here is,

    1. Can I send the same application and documents after certifying it or do I need to change the bank statements (updated) , new prints of application (current ones are stamped by NADO) and arrange them in order (they reordered the papers).

    Thanks in advance.

I can't see any reason you can't send the same application and evidence again, WITH the missing birth certificates this time.

Thanks JandM. The stamp from the NADO triggered this question. Can I consider as an opportunity to add more documents in it ?

I'm guessing CMIIW it's stands for North Auckland Documentation Office. There's also MAO code which stands for Manukau Area Office.

Think it's just the abbreviation INZ using between their officers

The stamp from the NZ immigration has NaDO in the end (Bold).

I believe it is national document officer.

    Thanks, cakes88.

Okay, so the fact that a documents office(r) has seen SOME of your evidence wouldn't be any bar to your putting MORE evidence with your application when you re-send your ITA. It will definitely all get looked at over again upon arrival the next time.

Thanks JandM. Would it be a good idea to send the immigration letter (failed lodgement) along with my application to demonstrate that I have completed my application as requested.

That's what I would do in your place.
