Default Points claim based on qualification

    Hey everyone

I have a question please. I am going to apply for my SMC application as a store manager. I have done 2 different studies in new zealand. I did diploma in Busines Level 5 and 6, and i have also done diploma in information technology level 5.
My question is and as i have read somewhere 'you can only gain points based on one qualification' which is fair. What i want to ask is, if my job is relevant to my business studies, is it mandatory that i can only claim points based on my business study too OR i can gain points based on my IT study and ignore my business studies even though my job is relevant to my business studies?
The reason i am asking this is if i claim points based on my business studies i only get 40 points BUT if i claim points based on my IT studies, although i do get 40 points there is also a point that states ' 10points if you have started your qualification before 2011' and yes i have started and finished my qualification before 2011 which will give me 10 extra points and it will take my overall points to 160.
Please if someone can help me here.
    Kind Regards
    Raman

I've just answered this in the PM you sent me, which I saw first.
