Very nice progress and happy for you! Have you applied SMC or something else?

    SMC.

Absolutely no idea how mine got allocated to a CO that quickly given the waiting times that the rest of you are experiencing, but I'll take it.

For those interested, the additional relationship evidence requested was in relation to the time my partner and I were apart (we were apart between September and February as per my Work Visa timeline here). My LIA now has a plethora of Skype logs to forward to the CO.

Does one of the below apply to you?

    1. Salary is above the high remuneration threshold.

    2. Occupation is one that requires registration through a governing body and applicant holds current registration.

    3. Employer is a government department.

None of the above. Only thing that I can think went in my favour is that my employer is an accredited employer -- I really don't know how else it would have been bumped to the front of the queue. The only bonus employment points claimed were for employment outside of Auckland.

Very interesting. I really thought they would only fast track if one of those 3 conditions were met. Thanks for the information and good luck!
