Decided to e-mail the immigration officer and this was the response

"Your application is complete and approved. Once your passport has been scanned into our system, you will be issued with your permanent residency visa. There is nothing further you need to do except send your passport in"

    Hi There,
INZ has asked my partner to send in her passport for scanning as INZ didn't have any records. However, we did send it the last time we applied for the visa. Not sure why.
Anyways, they have asked us to send it to this address:
    Immigration NZ
    DX Box: EP71514
    20 Fairfax Avenue
    Penrose
    Auckland 1061

Now, when I went to the post shop, they said they can't send it to DX Box address and asked me to use the PO Box address. Is it ok to send it to the PO BOX address, that is:
    Immigration New Zealand
    PO Box 76895
    Manukau
    Auckland 2241

I asked my case officer, but they haven't replied yet
    Thanks

See here. https://www.dxmail.co.nz/dx_overnight.html You will need to take it to a DX point, not the post shop. In your place, I would use the DX network, because that is where the CO will be expecting it to arrive.

    Hi There,
This is for the my Partner's resident visa application.
The case officer has asked to submit a PCC on 2nd March with a due date of 17th March. However, my passport was with immigration for scanning and there was a delay in returning my passport. I called the case officer, and they agreed to extend the due date to 29th March. But it then took another week (14 March) to return me passport. I have sent all the documents for PCC on 14th itself. The indian PCC may take up to 4 to 5 weeks. So, i updated my case officer and raised my concern that it may take longer and i may require further extension.
My case officer replied and said that they will keep the due date as is and the PCC is due on 29th March. I am so worried now. I am almost certain that i won't get my PCC before 29th March.
Does anyone know what will happen if i don't upload my PCC before 29th? Are they going to reject my application? Or they will provide further extension.
Will appreciate any help on this.
    Thanks

Nobody here can know for certain how INZ will handle this or any individual situation. HOWEVER, in the past, when people have known they are going to miss a deadline for submitting whatever required documents, if they have sent in proof that they have requested the evidence (in your case, the police check) promptly, so any delay is down to the issuing authority and beyond their control, this has USUALLY been treated sympathetically.

Thanks for your reply J&M. I will send in the proofs and the tracking status.... I hope the CO acts sympathetically.
But it will be sad if they do not. If something takes 5 weeks, then why would INZ give a deadline of 2 weeks? It is simply not possible. I am so worried now.

    Hey everyone!

Decided to post my timeline even though we're still waiting for a CO to be assigned.

    Application submitted - 15/04/2023
    INZ accepted application - 20/04/2023

It's been almost two months. Hopefully, we'll have a CO soon. Best of luck to everyone who is still waiting for their residency visa <3

September 3rd, 2023 - Discovered that INZ sent me a letter on August 28th, asking me to send in my passport within 5 days and upload additional documents by September 5th. Lucky find as the email notifying me of this had gone into junk. Passport has been dropped off to be couriered so fingers crossed they will be okay with the little delay.
