That means that you should stop stressing... they've received it, it just hasn't (yet) been receipted into their systems.

Hi Guys, I'm unsure on the police certificate for SMC Visa. Do I need to apply for police certificate or criminal/traffic clearace from ministry of justice? I saw a clause in the guide that Immigration NZ will automatically get police certificate for me. So does that mean for New Zealand police certificate, I do not need to do anything?

    Thanks JandM,

If my experience is anything to go by, you can expect to see the lodgement date in the next few days now that payment has been taken.

That’s some progress!! I am very much looking forward to payment being deducted as I’m assuming it means it has been lodged and won’t be shipped back to me as failed.

We just hope that the lodgement date is back-dated to when they received the application, ie before the 9th of May, and not today's date. If they lodge it with today's date it means we'll need to get new Police Clearances in the meantime. So here's hoping

For me the lodgement date was back-dated to the date that the courier delivered the parcel, so you should be fine!
