Visitor Visa Application - On Hold

Hello -

I'd like to share my situation with the group and appreciate your response/feedback if anyone experienced the same.. I submitted the Visitor Visa application 4 weeks before, didn't hear anything yet, I called the INZ customer support today, they said Case Officer processed it and that's it, he has not closed the application and shared the decision. It is sitting in this queue from past 8 days, with no closure action being taken...

Anyone experienced the same situation? Why case officer would process application and put on hold without sharing the decision? Ideas why? I've to travel in mid-June, what should I do??

They didn't say it is waiting for second-person checking? - that's when another official looks over a case to check for errors and omissions, and to guard against the possibility of corruption.

Thanks JandM... I'm not sure if it was waiting for second approval, but anyways I got he decision 30 mins back. Thanks for your reply..
