Default What's included under the "Accountant (General)" category

Preping for my next visa renewal, under essential skill work visa.

What's usually considered acceptable under ANZSCO category "Accountant (General)"

can it be "assistant accountant", "graduate accountant" and anything else?
the JD will match with whats required under ANZSCO of course.

    Thanks!

The job title stated by the employer doesn't matter - s/he can call a job anything s/he likes that makes sense within their organisation. INZ will check the job description against the ANZSCO description. They require the employer to state in detail exactly what the employee will be doing, and this needs to fulfil very nearly every item on the ANZSCO list.

JandM is very correct. dont try to match your title with ANZSCO(based on prior experience).
But rather try to match your job description with the ANZSCO.

btw, my adviser told me General Accountant is more for Accountant working in Firm.
While company(commercial) accountant should apply for Management accountant.
Of course it depends on individual case i reckon.

For me i am an Assistant accountant and i apply under management accountant.
    You can look under https://forms.justice.govt.nz/search/IPT/Residence/
There's a case 202693e which have differentiate General Accountant vs Management Accountant.

    Cheers,
