Default 4 months ITA Timeline - Confusion.. Anyone came across before?

    hi guys,

I would like to know if anyone came across this situation before.

We are given 4 months to submit our ITA docs. On average people submit it in 2 months or little more. Say If I submit after 3.5 months ( Delivered to INZ in 3.5 months time ) and it takes approximately a month to either lodge or to return stating some problem with the documents. If it is returned and I submit again in a days time it obviously exceeds 4 months timeline. In this case, will my application be accepted?

I saw INZ takes a day the docs reached them as lodgement date even though it takes a month after that.

Have anyone came across the above situation before? Please advise.

If i'm not wrong its the date of submission, not lodge.
Lodging got nothing to do with you (ie if postman send it to the wrong address, its not your fault or INZ lack manpower and takes ages to process your documents)

Remember to take picture when sending your document, have tracking number.
once it reaches INZ before the said date then shouldn't be a problem.
