    Default Sentence 10 years ago been waive can affect a Work visa application?

    Hi (in behalf of a friend )
    10 years ago i have a car crash (no other people involved) was a drinking and driving offence. Been sentence to sign weekly for 2 years been done. Is been waive of all record, 3 years later i done a New Zealand working holiday and have no problem and at this Moment I hold and Apec Card for the las 2 years .
    Can this affect my working Visa application?
    Even when is waive of all record need to be say.
    My police clearance is clean.

    https://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/#35058.htm See A5.25 h. As you'll see, the offence needs to have been at least FIVE years ago for INZ to require a character waiver application, normally. The person needs to declare it, but if there are no other character issues, it shouldn't cause a problem for them.
