Default INZ question on large number of applicants applied for the role.

Applied for Essential Visa under the Accountant Category, and there were quite high number of people responded to the job advertisement.

What reason/evidence should I provide to INZ that the Kiwi applicants weren’t selected. They weren’t qualified enough, doesn't have the right job experience? salary expectation exceed market, do we provide INZ with some of the candidates job application?

    Thanks

It is up to the employer to say why s/he did not find the other candidates good enough for the job, not the applicant.

JandM is right - that's the employer's responsibility. There is a question in the Employer Supplementary form that covers this question, but it's also a good idea for the employer to write a separate letter, explaining who applied and got shortlisted (obviously not using names, but maybe calling them Candidate A, Candidate B, etc.) and then a comprehensive explanation as to why they were not considered suitable to be offered the job.
