Default Area of Absolute Skill Shortage Qualification

    Hi Guys,
I am about to apply for residence. I have a qualification as described in the Long Term Skill Shortage list but it is post work experience. Do you know if the qualification need to be prior experience or post work experience? Some job seem like they require prior job experience some other not. My job is Chef.
    Thanks
    Mauro

Don't know if anyone is interested but I found out the answer to my question.
Today I have called the immigration and they have confirmed me that if, in the LTSSL , is not stated that qualification must be before work experience than it doesn't matter when the qualification has been gained.
So if you are a chef your qualification can be prior or post work experience in the LTSSL.
    Ciao

Thanks for the update. That's great news for you, I think.

Yes it is. Don’t know if you remember me. I had trouble with my qualification last year and asked for help here. You have been so helpful! I have gained through Serviceiq a certificate level 4 in cookery for free and now i am back on track to apply for residence.
    This forum is awesome

    Thanks
