15/05/19 - EOI selection
16/05/19 - ITA receipt
16/08/19 - ITA lodged/documents sent
29/08/2019 - Money Deducted and lodgement date is 16/08.

I have Requested Escalation on based on some personal circumstances but that request has been declined

06/09/19 - ITA lodged

Now, it is a long wait for CO assignment.

I think with the induction of INZ new staff, the wheel should roll little faster! Right?

You'd hope so, but all the news seems to say it's the Hamilton office getting lots of staff and that's all for partnership visas there. Very little mention of the Manukau office getting much help to dig themselves out of their hole and unfortunately seemingly not much movement for those that applied in December and January.

It's really difficult to say that it would be processed faster, as most of the noise and protests are happening for Partnership Visas and no one it talking about SMC visa's, so let's see how it goes for us.
