    Post ITA Lodgement November 2019

Hi everyone, this is my first thread here.

I see no one started a post about ITA Submission for November, 2019 therefore decided to be the first one.

Hope people on the same boat could share their progress.

    EOI Selected - 30 October

Assigned to - Auckland Manukau Branch

    ITA Received - 5 November

ITA Submitted - 10 November (Delivered on 12th November)

No confirmation letter or email yet.

Hope I could be one of those lucky members that got approved within 2 months

If you are one of those fortunate to have a salary +90K in this low wage country, apply for escalation and you will get it within 2 months. Else, it is a long waiting. Sad to share, but Iam there from March, and people are waiting case officer allocation from as back as December 2018.

    Best wishes.

Correct. The SMC high renumeration threshold was last updated on 26th November 2018 and is currently (as per SM6.60) $50 per hour (or the equivalent annual salary, which I calculate as $104,000).

Thanks friends for pointing it out. I think I mixed this up with $90k criteria that exists for moving into PR from R.

That $90,000 annual salary threshold for getting a direct Permanent Resident Visa is only for holders of a Talent (Accredited Employer) Work Visa applying for a Talent (Accredited Employer) Resident Visa -- and then, only for people who applied for the associated Work Visa before October 7th, 2019: this has recently been discontinued as part of the forthcoming Work Visa changes (refer to RW2.1). As such, natural attrition will result in this falling away entirely over the next 2-3 years.

This has never been part of the Skilled Migrant Category.
