The education sector is having significant impact due to visa delays. These news in partnership visa and residency will slowly impact NZ as agents will push students towards other destination. UK is now providing 2 years post study visa from 2020 onward. I have seen couple of NZ education agents promoting this.

Here's my timeline - applied from within NZ, pay does not meet high remuneration threshold.

    EOI selection/ITA received: 25/09/19
    ITA documents sent off: 07/10/19
    ITA lodged: 22/10/19
    Payment deducted: 22/10/19
    No further communication from INZ

Expecting a CO to be allocated - hmmm, who knows, my acknowledgement letter does not specify anything (lucky me) - currently on an ESV expiring 01/2021 so fingers crossed it's processed by then!

ITA lodged 25th January 2019, and we do have a case officer since March, due to high salary threshold.

We are actually on our 3rd case officer for some reason, and it's not for a 2nd person check. Each CO throws up new roadblocks. Now they are questioning the financial sustainability of the company my husband works for (we're here on his Essential Skills visa, based on this job). Also the new guys wants me to prove that I speak English (I'm a US citizen and have always lived there...submitting my diplomas as proof). And one of our kids turned 11, so she needs a chest xray now. We were really hoping for approval before the holiday slowdown, but it's not looking good.

Depends on what type of nurse she is and the location. Some nurse professions are on the skill shortage lists and will be approved much quicker than other applications.
