Default General Applicants for SMC- Please update if CO is allocated

    Hi,

You know that our google tracking sheet for SMC applicants timeline was hijacked by someone else. So, lets use this thread as "Catch All" thread for any Case officer allocation for general category.

We know that applicants meeting prioritized criteria are processed within months. But there are hundreds of others like us who earn less than 90k and are waiting from months for CO allocation.

So lets post on this thread whenever we have CO allocation for SMC residency application so we are updated on whats going on.

    Thanks,
    Saumya

If INZ is not able to assign CO for Dec 18 SMC application even after 11 months, they should put the EOI-SMC on hold for 2-3 months.

Once they clear the backlogs, they can restart the SMC process.

They wont do that, as they will loose revenue. They wait for people to get frustrated and leave after giving money. If they don't want migrants they should close the student visa category first.

on an average student outside of NZ brings in 20K and they live here and contribute their money and keep businesses, taxes (IRD) rental, cab, transport and so on running so they wouldn't do it.
