Parents visa with 2 year grand daughter

Plz advise

My partners still having 3 years visitor visa expiring next month but they want to visit nz next year in July with their 2 year old grand daughter. They r really attached with her in a joint family.
My query is 1. Can grand daughter's application can be included in with grand parents visitor visa?
2. Can all three apply online or paper visa?
3. Is it required for my parents to have medical done again for having 3 years visitor Visa even if they still got medical done 3 years ago?
4. Can medical be done any where from any doctor?

1. Unless the granddaughter has been legally adopted by her grandparents, they won't be able to include her on their application, but will have to do a separate one of her own, and would have to supply evidence that her own parents approved and gave permission. If in doubt, they should phone INZ to ask exactly what will be required.

For any temporary visa, character checks are carried out for applicants aged 17 and over intending to stay in New Zealand for 24 months or longer (this includes time already spent in New Zealand). See A5.5.

Additionally, on the Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa factsheet, there is this statement: "If you've previously spent 6 months or longer in NZ, but haven’t provided a police certificate from your home country before, you must provide one with this application."
