Default Help! who can explain the email from case officer?

I submitted my PPI response 3 weeks ago, and I received case officer's email as below this afternoon. Does it sounds good for me?

This email is to update you that the PPI submission received has now been reviewed.

While I have yet to reach the decision stage, I will be in touch with further / detailed updated in the new year when I return to the office

It means that they have received your submission and the person who has to make a decision is now on holiday until January, so you need to be patient
