Has anyone applied for the Talent Work visa since Sep 2019 and would you mind sharing your timeline? Cheers!
Has anyone applied for the Talent Work visa since Sep 2019 and would you mind sharing your timeline? Cheers!
Just check my post in other thread and looks like I'm in your category
Got TA visa approved today along with my wife and son's visa. Here is my timeline:
LIA Applied for visa: Nov 29th
Request for EVE: Dec 1st
EVE confirmed: Dec 3rd
Visa approved: Dec 4th
Hi GeneralAK, thanks for your reply. That's unbelievable that your visa got approved in almost a week. Your timeline is for Talent Work Visa, not the Talent Resident Visa, right? Cause as far as I know, EVE only applies to Talent Resident Visa.
It's work visa. And they approved my EVE. I have no idea why.
Here is there response e-mail from my request:

Employment Visa Escalation

Would you mind sharing what kind of reasons you used to apply for escalations? Thanks very much
1. I told them that my employer is an accredited one.
2. My job on skill shortage list.
3. My job is setting up the information system on DHBs so as sooner I've got the visa, as sooner NZ healthcare can be benefited from the system.
4. I have to start working in 1 month after submitting the visa so I want the visa to be approved quickly as the company has to later arrange my travel and accommodation.
These are the reasons I gave them as has my application escalated.
Thanks very much for your sharing!
