Offer length requirement for Talent(Accredited Employer) Work Visa

Hi everyone,

INZ instruction says "Offers of employment from accredited employers must be:for a period of at least 24 months;" (https://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/#34540.htm)

I just wonder if the offer with a length that is just a few days away from 24 month will meet the requirements? For example, 16 March 2020 - 11 March 2022, it is 23 months, 24 days. (https://www.timeanddate.com/date/dur...&y2=2022&ti=on)

I think it's like every government requirements everywhere in the world. You're only 1 day away from eligible means you're ineligible.

I think so, too. INZ would not be allowed to ignore the exact requirement. The employer is the one who may be able to adjust things, and might do if convinced that you are right for that job.
