Residency via partnership

Hi there,
I will be applaying for residency via partnership. I have been living with my kiwi partner for about 2.5years. Any chances for pernament residency? I know that itvsaid somwhere that after three years living together in nz, you can go straight to pernament. In the time i will be waiting for decision , we will be already three years living together. Thanks

The time period to qualify for permanent residence is 5 years - the Kiwi partner needs to have been living outside NZ for at least 5 years and the couple need to have been living together for at least 5 years.
