    The same immigration notice interpreted. It also says, "That would allow INZ to start processing a backlog of skilled migrant applications that stretched back to December 2018. Immigration New Zealand has been contacted for comment".

    So one of the SMC team managers has today confirmed that the front of the queue today is 11 December 2018. We now have a baseline to be able to establish whether anything that INZ have claimed is going to happen (resuming allocations from the main queue) is happening going forward. I'll check in with them again in one month's time (to give them a bit of time to get their act together following the announcement). Hang in there people
