JSV to Resident- 12 months Contract Job

Hi Everyone,

I really need your help on a matter.
I am in the process of obtaining a job offer which is a 12 month contract from a multinational huge company (so financially very sound).

I have been reading few posts from 2018 and 2017 which have mentioned that the CO declined the application as they were not satisifed that the employment will be ongoing and sustainable.

Can anyone please share their experience ? What should I request the Employer to mention on the offer letter ?

In practice, though, although the regulations don't say this, I think it's fair to say that there's a better chance if the employer may want to extend the contract, or that the job is in demand, so that there may well be others around wanting to employ you afterwards.
