Extending a Limited Visitor Visa due to COVID19

Hi Everyone,

My son and partner's limited visit visa is expiring in 4 weeks, we have booked their return flights on the 7th of April but due to this scary situation both here and in our home country we are wanting to push back on flights until it's safe to travel.

I already called INZ and was advised to apply for another limited visitor visa as soon as I can which I am now working on.
Just want to ask if there's anyone out here who have been granted a visa based on the COVID19 situation? and how long did you have to wait for it?

I think you are going to find you are among the very first wave of people to be dealing with a necessary change of plans because of the virus containment rules. This hasn't happened before.
