Hi all

I have applied on 7th of may 2020 online and still not heard anything. I have rung them up and they said it is not allocated to anyone yet?

Anyone in same situation?

Just a thought, I have came across a few people and at least 4 of my friends who have applied online compare to my friends who have applied in person are relatively faster in terms of processing.

I think this is because you meet your case officer during face to face appointment. But in case of postal/ online applications, it needs to be allocated to a case officer.

This may have some influence on processing of applications.

Yes that could be true but that was just my guess I could be wrong.

According to my experience face to face appointment applications are faster compare to postal or online. This is my experience based on my few friends who applied in person compare to friends who applied online.

When I booked an appointment in mid Jan, the latest they offered me was end of April so I took that it is always a good idea to ring them at least a month or 2 in advance and book your appointment for the day you want if thats available and once that’s booked you can always move the appointment dates around via the link they will email you. So the best is to give them a call closer to December and they will look into it for ya.
