Secondment opportunities and ESV

A number of people in my work have been discussing secondment opportunities that are opening up in work, and how this interacts with an Essential Skills Visa.

Would a secondment opportunity require a change of conditions to the ESV?

If a secondment would mean a new job title, you'd need to apply for a whole new work visa, not a VoC.
