    Default Citizenship approved (timeline)

I thought I should share my experience for people out their. Citizenship applied 29th of April via post. Fees deducted 5th of May contact detail letter 11th May citizenship approval letter received 19/06/20 letter dated 15/06/20. Applied 4 years and 10 months and been on holidays for about 2 months on the first year and been on holidays for a month on 5th year. That should clear some confusion for anyone asking if they have to wait for 5 years to apply or they can apply earlier.

Honestly I would say about 5 to 6 weeks max as they deducted the fees late. Good luck with ur application

Congratulations. Looks like if you apply By post or by Person, you'll get the approval letter sooner as compare to online applications.

I've heard some online applications processed in a quick timeframe.

I reckon it depends on when your application is allocated to a case officer and how long the agency checks take such as police vetting and other.
