Approval for border exception for Critical worker

Hi all,

has anyone here applied for approval for border exception as a Critical worker according to the requirements published by INZ on 18.06?

How was the process? How fast did INZ gave a decision?

My NZ employer is looking at applying for me based on the long-term requirements, I also have a SMC visa now on hold at the very last stage.

I haven't applied for one under the 18 June requirements, but I have applied under the earlier criteria. Turnaround was very quick - an invitation to apply within 24 hours and a visa granted within 2 days of actually making the application.
