Auckland and Manukau Citizenship Office will be closed during Alert Level 3.

"COVID-19 and citizenship services
The Auckland and Manukau citizenship offices will close from Wednesday 12 August due to Alert Level 3 restrictions in the Auckland region. They will reopen when the alert level is lowered.

For urgent matters, call the contact centre."

Additional information regarding processing times.

Even though Auckland and Manukau offices are closed to the general public,
the processing time currently is within 5 to 10 months of submitting a correct and complete application.

Citizenship Office will contact applicants directly through email or by post if there are any changes to the processing time.
