In INZ 1176, it mentioned "You have spent enough time in New Zealand - You have been in New Zealand as a resident for a total of 184 days or more in each of the
two 12-month portions of the 24 months immediately preceding your permanent resident visa application".
But the tricky thing is which date INZ start to do this counting: the day they receive the courier delivery, the day they are processing and lodge into file, or the day co start to look at it?
The reason why I asked is that the gap between those dates could be huge (5 days? 10 days?), so if the applicant has just exceeded a few days than 184, especially for the first year, it has potential risk to fail the application if different dates has been chosen.
So anyone has knowledge or experience on it?
