SMC August 2019

Hi All,

Starting this thread to touch base with the applicants who have got their SMC lodged in the month of Aug 2019.

And anyone got emails from Immigration asking for the IRD Summary and Bank Statements.

I understand at the moment queue is almost in July so anticipating getting the Aug file picked by Co in another 4 weeks.

Below is my timeline:
EOI Selection: 15th May 2019
ITA Received: 16th May 2019
SMC Lodgement: 16th Aug 2019

The emails that get sent out asking for updated documents usually say "we anticipate that we'll be allocating your application within the next 2 months", so you could probably expect these emails start to be sent out for August lodgements in the next week or so (keeping in mind that INZ only really just started back to work properly in the last week so operations have been pretty slow the last couple of weeks).

In my recent experience, applications have been allocated within 3-4 weeks of that email being received. But the Christmas period has upset things somewhat in terms of processing timeframes so we need to give INZ a bit of a chance to "steady the ship" again now they're back to work.

I have received an email from INZ.

"We plan to allocate your current skilled residence application to an Immigration Officer within 2 months" asking for updated Documents (3months payslip and 12 months IRD Summary.

Any update on allocation?what date is it on.
Already send the updated ird,payslip and relationship documents.
Lodgement date: 16th Aug 2019

The queue is on 16th July so might take another 3 weeks (and get picked in the 4th-week allocation, if they go with the same pace i am expecting it to be picked on 26th Feb Friday allocation). My lodgement date is also 16th Aug by the way

I have received an email from INZ.

May I know how did you provide them the documents, by post, email? Thank you !
