    Kelerei, do you think the incoming person in this case will count as a partner (and therefore, immediate family member) yet if she has a culturally arranged marriage visa and is travelling to NZ to be married? Is that the situation, Jazz77, that the couple haven't yet spent time living together? I don't want to put a damper on hopes, but it's best to be clear.

    just called immigration nz and they confirm that partner of NZ citizen can travel direct from high risk country 😊
