I applied mid november last year. First contact about 3 weeks ago. Approval letter a week later and got the email today about the certificate they're going to mail to me.

Applied online - 15 Dec 20,

Received this response from Citizenship Office on 15 Oct 21 - "Delays to citizenship applications. There is a delay to citizenship applications. We are currently processing applications submitted in October 2020."

Hey guys officially NZ citizen as of today

I applied in november 2020.
14 September they emailed to confirm details.
1 october they emailed me the outcome and to wait for email about ceremony.
11 october they emailed that ceremony was to be held on 19 october but due to covid the council decided not to hold it so they will mail it to me within 4 weeks and I'll be officially citizen from 19 october and my pr Visa becomes invalid and how to apply for passport etc.

I had couple emails about my details as my place of birth not exist as such anymore(former USSR) but it was not that big of a problem, it's something I'm used to dealing with anyway.

Thank you and wish you guys a speedy process. I'm sure it's only around the corner now. I know it's just a sit and wait situation but it is frustrating we all wanna be over and done with it and get on with our lives.
