Govt website just updated to say it is now taking 9-14 months.

Last year it was 3-5, then 5-10, then 7-12 and now 9-14.

I wonder if new timelines are going to apply only to new applications. I think it was 5-10 in January '21 when I applied.

Timelines are just indicative... It has little relevance when it comes to predicting the processing time.

FYI the average processing days are just getting longer and longer.

Latest update about queue:

As at 01 July 2021:
- Online application: 16/09/2020
- In-person application: Auckland 21/09/2020, Wellington 16/09/2020, Christchurch 17/10/2020.

Look like now they receive around 3,000 applications every month and process around 1,500.

Yesterday I joined the citizenship queue!

Applied in person in Christchurch on 26 July 2021.

I was told I will receive a CO in 7-12 months.
