Other people's cases can't be taken as a precedent, because every case is different, and the CO has to check out each couple's evidence individually.

    Hi JandM

Relax please! no harm in asking timeline. I haven’t committed a crime in asking a question isn’t that the purpose of this forum?

    Have a good weekend.

Indeed, no harm in asking, but equally, no harm in my replying with a fact.

It varies a lot. If the partner is British or Japanese etc, the relationship is 5+ years old and the applicant supplies a lot of ‘good’ evidence, it might be processed in as little as 4 months. Generally speaking, the more ‘risk factors’ there are, the longer the processing time , so it could be 12+ months.

    Timeline——

    Applied - 1st March 2021

Co contacted on 28th April that she needs latest docs

2nd May - Latest doc uploaded & CO replied will take a look in next few days. However, nothing since .....

Not fussed because INZ couldn’t organise a piss up in brewery even if they tried ✌️

The most inefficient and insensitive department. God bless Aotearoa!

To be honest- it is not like you've been waiting for months and months, there are other applications to be worked on besides yours. I get a little annoyed when I read negative posts like yours.

Look mate.... It is my opinion and I am free to voice out “my opinion”. You do have the option to ignore!
Ain’t got time to run into arguments with you or for that matter anyone!

INZ is the most “deliberate” inefficient department and seems like if you have $$ NZ will welcome you with open arms! An elitist system. Again just my opinion. Please do not have the urge to comment on it, just simply ignore! Thank you

May the force be with you! Amen ✌️✝️
