Default Employer-assisted work visas expiring between July - December 2021

    Hi there,

On 20 December 2020 Kris Faafoi announced the following update:

"Employer-assisted work visa holders (and their partners and dependent children) who have a job and whose visas are expiring before 30 June 2021 will have their visas automatically extended by another six months."

Have there been any updates as to if Employer-assisted work visa holders (and their partners and dependent children) who have a job and whose visas are expiring after 30 June 2021 (not too long from now for some) will have their visas automatically extended by another six months?

Thanks in advance for any information on this.

No information. In my opinion, it's probably safest to assume it won't happen.
