    Default "approved"?

Hi all need some advise, I just checked online the status changed to "APPROVED", but when I called CC she said the case is still being finalising she can't confirm whether it approved or not. Is this normal?

My best guess: you're about to receive an Approved in Principle letter, stating that you are provisionally approved for the grant of a Resident Visa pending final action that you need to take (usually, but not always, it's to submit your passport to INZ for vetting).

Yes, it's normal. Often, the instruction to clerks to update the online status gets out of phase with both the CO updating your notes on the computer, and/or the other clerks who will send out the AIP letter/email.

I was about to ask the same question! I got it "APPROVED" on my online account, but the CC said its with the support team. The CC agent said it could take around 2 weeks, would it really take that long?

It *could*... here's hoping you don't need to be patient for that long.

    Hurdle 1 completed
Next hurdle - to bring my husband from India here on either a PVV or CPVV
