I hope you are all doing well despite the heavy burden that this government is putting on us.

For those that are not aware, there has been a lot of movement going on lately. You may have seen Green's petition for instance (https://action.greens.org.nz/fixing_immigration)

Well, we recently formed a coalition of the most representative migrants groups under The Federation of Aotearoa Migrants (https://www.facebook.com/fam.migrants). The purpose of FAM is to amplify migrant voices and to highlight the issues endured by migrants due to the broken immigration system in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We have organized a protest outside Parliament on Thursday 13 May from 12.30pm to 3.00pm, prior to the House debate on immigration, to show our politicians why these issues are so important for us and our whanau. A massive turnout is expected. We have also organized candlelight vigils on Wednesday 12 May at 17:30 in Auckland, Hamilton, Queenstown, Christchurch, Dunedin, Tauranga and Nelson for those who cannot make it to Wellington.

We need you all there! We have strength in numbers and populous public demonstrations are the ONLY way we can achieve something.
