    Hi Yanco

Did you reach out to them again by any chance?

Yes, today. CO has passed my application to QC today. So it's approved just needs to be verified by a senior officer now, 99% of the time applications pass QC. I just don't know how much longer this will take.

Hi all, I will be applying for PR in one month, I submitted the police certificate from all the countries I lived when I applied for the resident visa. Whether I need to provide them again for permanent resident visa?

Applicants for a Permanent Resident Visa are not usually required to submit a police certificate, and are only required to submit a police certificate if specifically asked to by an Immigration Officer. See A5.5(b).

If you are specifically asked to provide a police certificate, it must be less than six months old per A5.10(a). You cannot resubmit your previous police certificates: A5.10(d) does not apply to an applicant applying for a Permanent Resident Visa.

Feels unreal to almost have Permanent Residency after all the pain over two years ago when they secretly stopped processing our SMC applications without any word from them...
