PR waiting time

Hello everyone

Dropped off husband's application at the Manukau drop box on 21 Dec, fees deducted just this morning 28 Jan.

We sent the application form, his passport, and new police clearance from home country (just in case they needed it and we wouldn't have to waste time waiting for it if they did decide to request it).

I was going to ring them later today to ask for an update since we checked yesterday and the fee had not been deducted but when I checked this morning it was charged

- Payment taken: 4th February
- “received application” email received: 5th February

Note: Looking at other quick acknowledgments, lost my patience last night and sent enquiry email to immigrationonline@mbie.govt.nz with my passport # asking if they have received my application. Received quick response in the morning that my application is waiting for Immigration Officer. Payment taken today, so not sure if giving a gentle nudge did the trick or it was just a coincidence 😊

Daughter's PR (based on Australian citizen, 2 years+ resident in NZ):

- sent 6 December
- fees deducted 17 January
- receipt of application email 19 January

Another update after a 2 hour call to Immigration!
- Application arrived at INZ: 3rd November
- Payment taken and “received application” email received: 7th Jan
- In second person check queue: 14th Feb

Apparently from here it’s often 2-4 weeks to completion...

Just an update;
Submitted: 23rd January
Payment taken: 16th February
Acknowledgement email: 17 February.

Meanwhile I also got my transfer of visa today ;
Submitted: 23rd December
Transferred: 17th February

But to my surprise it says my visa starts on the 17th of February 2022 , does this mean I have a brand new resident visa conditions ?
