Great news - congratulations!![]()
I received an email from INZ today requesting I fill the NSC form . I was so gutted haha because I thought it was an approval email but why all of a sudden? Is it normal or new procedure to request for NSC as they did not request for one when I applied for RV & I've not left this country since i arrived .
What's NSC all about, I don't understand what's it is all about & what they are looking for now if they never looked at it before issuing me a RV .
So all the countries I've lived will be reached out to ?
& then this will take ages .
Well I'll do it anyway.
I see you found another thread that is specifically about NSC. Very little is made public about this check, including about why a CO will ask for it for one visa, and not for another. There's no alternative to doing what you've been asked to do. Good luck.
Edited to say, the thread that has the most discussion and shared experience is this one. https://www.enz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=54061 I'm afraid there's nothing I know of that can answer everything that must be going round in your mind at the moment.
Hello All, We got back our original passports today from INZ. I also called them today to inquire about status of my PRV application. They mentioned that my application is under second person quality check. Does anyone know how long does the second person quality check take ? Here is my timeline..
5th March 2022: Application with original passports sent to INZ via registered NZPost Courier
9th March 2022: NZPost tracking confirmed application was delivered to INZ
29th March 2022: Fees deducted from my bank account
30th March 2022: Received email from INZ stating "INZ has received your PR visa application"
8th April 2022: Original passports returned
Thank you!
Hello All, OMG OMG! We got our passports today at 8am and today at 12:00pm an email came cross from INZ...I was scared to open it, thinking they need some additional documentation, etc.....when I opened the email and attachment - lo-behold! There was our approved PRV for all of our family of three. I couldnt believe my eyes, I can't believe it still....i calculated in it was just 23 working days from day my application was delivered to when we got our PR.....i think this may be because INZ is recovering on their resources and also maybe because our application was less complex based on time spent in NZ......anyways, whatever the case..we are just thrilled...we are celebrating big time this evening!!!!!!!!![]()
...thank you INZ..thank you NZ...!
