Someone in one of my Facebook groups just reported they submitted by mail on 13 March and it was approved on 14 April.

Hi we have submitted a PR application on 30march, but our fees has not been deducted yet. Is it normal ? We have rung INZ they said file was received but has not been accepted yet.

Applications are received in a kind of 'post room', and dealt with in date order of their arrival, meaning they take their turn to have the finances deducted and the application lodged into the system. The time this takes after arrival varies, depending how many applications were already queuing when yours got there.
