    Default PR waiting time

    Hello,
How long is it taking for PR to be looked at and fees deducted?

We cant really have any guestimate with this lockdown in place, I guess.

Ideally it should've been 15-20 days for getting the application when I ( also you ) applied - 1st of August.

Fee deducted on 13th August - Lockdown started more or less at this time.

I don't know when exactly CO was allocated - I called call centre may be twice, but was told the application was in queue for CO but i think around 1st week of October, when I called them again, they said application was in quality check queue and it still the same unfortunately.

How about your timeline? when did you apply, fee deduction and is the CO assigned?

Ugh, I submitted my application for PR on 1 October. Looks like I'm in for a long wait?

PR processing times seem like a drop in the ocean compared to citizenship or residency visas these days.

Just to give you guys some ballpark estimate on how long it takes these days.

1 August - Applied for Permanent Residency.
    13 August - Money Deducted.
1 October - In 2nd person check queue.
12 October - Permanent Residency Approved!!

Just called INZ and they said that PR applications sent to the Penrose address are taking, on average, 40-50 days to be entered into their system. This wait time could reduce once AKL goes into L2.

My money was deducted one week ago and passports are being mailed back today. I would assume someone has looked at the application of passports are heading back?

Hi, when did you send your documents to the Auckland branch - how long did it take them to send the notification about your passport?
