I don't KNOW an answer to this, but I don't think anybody would be safe to assume that the DIA wouldn't do it. Also, if someone was found out, the course of action would be interpreted as fraudulent dealings with the NZ government, which can be met with serious consequences.

you got citizenship of another country and voluntarily acted against the interests of New Zealand, or
you got your New Zealand citizenship through:
committing fraud
falsely representing yourself
deliberately hiding information when you applied for citizenship
an administrative mistake.
