    Default Uk Passport for child

My Children were both born in NZ and as my any my Kiwi partner are looking at moving to the uk i want to get the passports has anyone had any recent experience with doing this in respect of what document we need to send.

I am a uk citizen by birth and my partner is a Kiwi ( both kids born in NZ and oldest has a NZ passport)

Any help or good websites would be greatly appreciated

This is off topic for this forum.

HMPO should have the information you need; this page should be a good starting point.

My friend recently basically did this. It seemed straight forward and done online. He just needed us to provide identity confirmation for the child (which we could as civil servants, and British). As Kelerei says, you'll find the information you need on their website.

This page https://www.gov.uk/apply-citizenship-british-parent may help. It occurs to me that when you enter the UK, if your children are UK citizens and hold UK passports, like you, passing through the formalities at the airport upon arrival will be easier.

This https://www.gov.uk/register-a-birth is another procedure you can go through while still in NZ, which would mean that any UK official checking either child's identity would find him/her in the British records.

This page https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/partner-spouse, then later, this one https://www.gov.uk/government/public...e-uk-form-setm, may be useful for your partner.

I’ve obviously however it doesn’t say what documents I need and would like to make sure I have everything when I apply.

Also if I need anything from my parents or just my birth certificate

If you follow up on the links from British websites, you'll be able to see which is appropriate, and then click through to the details of their requirements.
