    Default orange cheese

Hi there, what have North Americans found as closest to orange cheese in NZ?

Do you mean cheddar cheese? Heaps of cheddar options in NZ. https://www.countdown.co.nz/shop/sea...eddar%20cheese

If you mean the plastic-y, processed, "American" cheese slices, NZ has a couple options there as well. https://www.countdown.co.nz/shop/sea...heese%20slices

I noticed Countdown had 'Red Leicester' on their website the other day. Its a very orange cheese that we have in the UK and tastes less 'soapy' than a lot of cheddars. We love it and are very glad we will be able to get it when we get to NZ.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to get it next time I do my shop.
