OCI Application- Surname only in NZ passport?

Hi Everyone

Hope everyone is doing well. I have a question, I have only one single name as a surname on my NZ passport. Now I am trying to fill online OCI application but there is the first name is mandatory but I don't have the first name on my NZ passport. What should I do?

I tried to call the Indian High Commission almost hundreds of times but they did not pick up my call.

I have the same surname issue. Personally i will suggest a name change as this will be a problem everywhere from flights to electronic forms.

PS-i am not an advisor
