General visitor visa processing times

rk123, the trouble with asking for people's experiences is that they don't have any bearing on what will happen in your grandmother's case. Everybody's circumstances are different. Also, what's happening - staff holidays, or sick leave, or a rush of cases in the queue before your one - in the various offices processing applications is different from day to day.

Hi my friends parents got 1 year visitor visa with maximum stay for 6 months . What is the process if they want to stay extra . Do they need to apply another visa ?
